Each week the campers learned about different aspects of space. Examples would be the planets, rockets, stars, and galaxies. The weeks were filled with games, crafts, guest speakers, and fun activities. Mr. Bob from the middle school came and shot rockets off for the kids. We had a visit from "Smokey the Bear", the Florida Forestry, Nokomis Fire Department, just to name a few. At the end of the camp we had a "PJ" party. What a wonderful and fun summer! Next year should be equally great!

Amongst the recipients were Julian and Gentry Gauthier, Meadow Southworth, Sydney Grant and Seneca Symonds. Over 40% of the awards given were to IVMS students who only comprised approximately 10% of the children attending.

LE2 Poetry-Coffee House- LE2 Kindergarten and 1st graders entertained their parents with poetry readings in a coffee house environment.  The little ones did a marvelous job and the parents thoroughly enjoyed the evening!
